The position

By joining our team in Marketing, Midstream & Processing you will have the opportunity to:

Become part of the Project department at the Hammerfest LNG plant - a team responsible for project management, construction follow-up, and commissioning towards the implementation of modifications and projects. As an engineer in completion and commissioning, your tasks will be to:

  • Be responsible for planning, preparing, and providing support for completion, testing, and handover activities according to current work processes.

  • Be responsible for training and follow-up of the company's completion system.

  • Be responsible for identifying resource needs related to testing and handover activities.

  • Be responsible for ensuring that punch points are followed up and completed.

  • Contribute to the preparation of mission documents and participate in project meetings.

  • Contribute to contract inquiries in projects.

  • Contribute to the further development of routines and systems to ensure that completion is carried out in accordance with governing documentation at Equinor.

  • Relevant education through either technical certificate, technical school degree, or university degree.

  • Experience and competence in planning, preparing, and providing support for completion, testing, and handover activities in modifications and projects according to given work processes, standards, and governing documents.

  • Experience in identifying, training, managing, and guiding resources.

  • Experience in being flexible and dedicated in both independent work and collaboration.

  • Ability to take responsibility for one's own development while contributing to the development of others.

  • A desire to live and work in Hammerfest.

  • Openness to sporadic visits to other onshore facilities.

  • It is advantageous if you are fluent in Norwegian/Scandinavian (written and spoken), as well being proficient in English.
