The position

By joining our team in Exploration & Production International you will have the opportunity to:

  • Runs the installation production department, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

  • Participate in CM (Corrective Maintenance) portfolio risk assessment meeting AP meeting, ensure quality in notifications, and decide on priority based on risk assessment.

  • Responsible for supervising the production Lead, operators, CROs and Laboratory Technicians, ensuring safe execution of operational maneuvers, interventions and reporting daily activities within production.

  • Develops and reviews production-related procedures.

  • Develops team through coaching, performance evaluations and trainings.

  • Handles emergencies, as part of the installation emergency response team.

  • Liaise with the onshore team, Maintenance and Barge (when applicable) Supervisor facilitating cooperation between functions.

  • Responsible to execute P&I (Production Efficiency Plan) plan, report deviations and interface with production technology team when necessary.

  • Review and Approve System isolations and its mitigations.

  • Permit work approval in its area of responsibility, following safe practices, procedures, and requirements.

  • Technical degree (CFT required) within mechanical/ electrical/electronic/chemistry or equivalent.

  • Minimum 4 years as as FPSO Production Superintendent.

  • Fluent verbal and written Portuguese and English language skills.

  • Knowledge of maintenance management systems, preferably SAP.

  • Experience with programed shutdown / start up.

  • Understand and manage the risk.

  • Embraces cooperation and open collaboration as essential ways of working.

  • Be proactive by nature, takes initiative and is able to work independently as needed.

  • Gives and receives constructive feedback and is motivated by continuous improvement.
