The Chief Financial Officer’s (CFO) organisation is a driving force behind the creation of greater value in the company. We are responsible for the financial and legal functions, providing professional support and advice, and for representing the group in financial markets. A key task for us is to ensure high levels of ethical and financial compliance with corporate and external requirements. By means of active stakeholder management, CFO will manage the market perception of Equinor in Norwegian and international financial markets.
GBS is the internal provider of global business support services to the Equinor group. GBS delivers services and expertise within finance and control, IT, HR, facility management, project deliveries, safety and sustainability, communication and management.
The position is within Real Estate and Facility Management (REFM). REFM’s main responsibility is to manage and optimize the corporate real estate portfolio, enabling cost effective, safe and healthy workplaces and ensuring and efficient provision of facility management services.
Would you like to develop the future technological infrastructure in Equinor real estate buildings?
Digitalization is currently causing transformation of our processes, and we need a strategic thinker to help with ensuring the technical infrastructure. This involves ensuring existing technical infrastructure in computer halls, office locations and plants. It also involves the process of bringing operations from offshore to onshore, with responsibility for the electrical infrastructure such as, barriers and the right backup solutions for Equinor’s Real estate portfolio.
The role will have close cross-functional collaboration with internal IT functions and our total facility management supplier
Main responsibility will be:
Project management include cost, risk mitigation and quality control
Provide technical guidance and coordinate daily work with internal and external resources, example: UPS, generators, access control and security, fire alarm and IKT network
Perform engineering analysis of facility electrical systems, make design decisions, and provide proposals for solutions to facility engineering issues
Contribute to maintenance plans
Develop Equinor’s technical requirements according to law and regulations
We are looking for a person with a background from electrical engineering
Positive with previous real estate project experience
Positive with operation and maintenance experience
Bachelor or master’s degree is preferred
Relevant experience may compensate for formal qualifications
7-10 years of relevant experience preferred
Stakeholder management with integrity
Hands on, and able to steer own processes
Ability to live by our safety and security expectations
You will be working in an experienced and highly knowledgeable team
Ability to steer and control much of your own tasks
Room for development and knowledge within Equinor and our real estate portfolio
